On the bright side, funding for the bike trail up US#1 is set, the first portion to be at the East end of Laurie Street. And guess what, the west end of Laurie Street dead ends at the North portion of the hoped for Preserve. A lovely loop through the wooded area could be had, and a connector to Babcock as well. The Mayor flipped through papers while John Emery was speaking, and barely looked at him until he barked out the thirty second warning, it was really rude. The other group trying to get sidewalks for their street were really nervous too and the whole scene was too stressful. Everybody needed to lighten up, these are people trying to make a difference. They are voters and taxpayers, and also have the guts to do something about things they see that needs fixing. They should not be subjected to intimidating tactics from these politicians.
This is a bunch of ******** People that get involved in their government should be treated with respect, otherwise why would anyone else want to get involved if this is what they can expect. Whose government is it anyway? No wonder people are disgusted.

An about this Magnolia thing, what gives there? If the owner wants to sell and these organizations want to help, what is the problem??????? Mark Larusso mentioned him and the City Manager looking for funding but .... lets see...he said something about a hurdle they couldn't get over. How much more vague could he get?
